Hello everyone !

It’s time for a reminder post for The March Flower Challenge ! We’re having a color challenge and it’s all about Purple !

My purple card is featuring the Daydream (40-740) cling stamp by Penny Black.

I stamped the image in Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac and Picked Raspberry DI. As I used the mini cubes it was easy to stamp the image partially in different colors as I wanted. While I was stamping I sprayed clear water on the stamp to get a watercolored look.

I went over the image with a clear glitter pen to blend the colors and add some sparkle. I ink blended Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord DI on the bottom and right side of the panel and splattered white and purple ink on the panel. I cut the panel with a die from Sewing Stackers die set (51-651) and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. The Sentiment is from Hope Sentiments set (30-803). I stamped “hope” in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it and added white heat embossed sentiment to the card.

  1. Your flowers are gorgeous in these shades of purple, TaeEun! Love the watercoloured look, along with the ink blending and splattering in the right bottom corner. The embossed frame makes the card even more special. Wonderful design! xx

  2. Beautiful card Tae Eun, love those flowers and the colours used. These are the times I wish I had the mini stamp pads but all mine are the biggies. hugs xx Aileen

  3. TaeEun, I love the watercolor look on your delicate flowers, these stamps lend themselves beautifully for this technique, and it helps tremendously to have those mini ink pads, makes it so much easier to add shade and color to small images.
The die-cut frame and the splatter finish this card perfectly.
    Stay healthy and safe.
    XO
