Hello everyone!

It’s time for a new Seize the Birthday challenge! My lovely team mate Shirley chose our new Topping and she wants to see some wheels on our projects!

I have a cool motorcycle stamp by The Ton, called Motorcycle Boss. And I thought this is the perfect one for this topping!

To begin I stamped the motorcycle in black on some watercolor paper and clear heat embossed it. Then I colored it in bright red, gray and gold. I cut the motorcylcle using the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create the background I made a red ombre watercolored panel and added some strokes of gold watercolor on it after the panel was dry. To add some interest to the background I cut the panel using a die from Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate die set. I secured the panel on the front with a sheet of Press’n Seal and added foam tape to the back of the die cut rectangles. I adhered the rectangles on a white cardbase and foam mounted the motorcycle on it.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I gold heat embossed the large sentiment on a piece of vellum. cut it into a rectangle and adhered it on a rectangle of the background. The birthday sentiment was white heat embossed on black and added to the card. I finished off the card with a few Medallion Gold sequins.
