Hello everyone!
The third batch of cards I made using the goodies from Delight Release by Penny Black are ready to get posted 🙂 !
Today I’m showcasing some floral stamps: Delight (40-775), Garden Fresh (30-816) and Thriving (30-811), along with the bunny from the Cuddlesome (30-814) set.
The first card is showing the Delight (40-775) cling stamp and HAPPY die (51-642).
I stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx black ink on a Canson watercolor paper panel and colored it using Zig and Karin markers. I added a bit of light blue watercolor to the area around the flowers and ink blended the top border of the panel in Salty Ocean DI.
After the panel was dry I cut the word HAPPY using the HAPPY die (51-642) from the colored panel. I also cut the word from some light blue fun foam.
I adhered the colored panel on a white cardbase and inlaid the die cut fun foam to its place and added the die cut word from the colored panel on it. I found the “birthday” from the Sprinkles and Smiles set (30-297) and white heat embossed it on a strip of black cardstock. For some shine I covered the word with Shimmer Pico Embellisher and scattered some clear iridescent sequins on the card.
The second card is featuring Garden Fresh (30-816) set. I also used the Contemporary (40-722) cling stamp and Triangles die (51-647) set to create the background.
I stamped all the images from Garden Fresh (30-816) set in Memento black ink on Neenah solar white panel to color them using Copic markers.
The colors I used are below.
- pink and purple flowers in the pitcher: RV10, 13 and 17 / V01, 06 and 09
- pitcher: BG 10, 13 and 18, Y02
- peach flowers in the center of the bottom: R30, 32 and 35
- yellow flowers: Y02, 08 and 17, YR04
- leaves: YG01, 05 and 09/ G00, 07 and 28
After the coloring was done I cut them all using the coordinating Cut Out (51-703).
The Contemporary (40-722) was white heat embossed on a watercolor paper panel. I colored some of the compartments of the graphic design in yellow, blue, pink, purple, peach and green using Zig markers.
To place the pitcher I made a table using the triangles I had in my stash after I had made a card previously posted. I ink blended the thin triangles in yellow, blue, green and pink and assembled them together with the thicker white triangles.
I foam mounted the triangle table on the card and added the pitcher with the flowers on the top of it. I placed the flowers on the bottom of the card as shown in the picture.
The sentiment from Better with Age (30-822) set was heat embossed in silver on a white cardstock. I cut it using a die from Triangles die (51-647) set. I ink blended the thin triangle frame in yellow and mounted it and the triangle with the sentiment on the card.
For the last card for today I used a floral branch from the Thriving (30-811) set and the bunny on a swing from the Cuddlesome (30-814) set.
I stamped the floral branch twice on the left and right top of a Neenah solar white panel in Memento black ink and I stamped it one more time on an extra piece of paper. The bunny was then stamped on the center of the panel. I added a single butterfly on the right side of the bunny.
I colored all the images using Copic markers.
- pink flowers: RV000, 02, 04, 06 and 09
- peach flowers: R30, 32, 35 and 39
- leaves: YG01, 05, 09 and. G29
- butterflies: Y02. 08 and 17
- bunny: W1, 3, 5 and 7
After the coloring was completed I ink blended the top part of the panel in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry DI and adhered it on a cardbase. I fussy cut the extra floral branch and added it to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Cuddlesome (30-814) set directly on the colored panel.
To finish off I scattered a few clear iridescent sequins and rounded two diagonal corners.
Here are all three together!
Thank you so much for looking ! Hope I was able to make you happy with my cards 🙂 !
Have a great day!
TaeEun
Girl, seriously, I am running out of words to use to tell you how awesome your cards are. These are just so beautiful especially the bunny on the swing. Adorable!
These are all so so pretty TaeEun and I love the designs and the beautiful colours, and I especially adore that cute bunny on the swing and the wonderful pink blooms across the top, but the first like a flower meadow with the embedded sentiment also looks great, and then the sweet vase of flowers with the geometric shapes which complement it perfectly in the background and some more pretty flowers ranged across the front, brilliantly done too. x
Oh my goodness! This is another trio of fabulousness, TaeEun. I love the bright colors, the subtle dimension, and the way you’ve incorporated geometric designs, too. You ROCK!!
