Today I have a one layer card to share with you. I’ve made this card with the CAS(E) this Sketch and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in mind.
I used the Vintage Flowers stamp set from Altenew. I stamped the branch and leaves using Distress inks and then stamped it again with embossing ink in order to clear heat emboss the image. To show the brushstroke in the sketch I made a cutting file and cut it from a scrap paper with my Cricut and used it as a stencil while blending in yellow and green shades. The sentiment is also from Altenew which I heat embossed in gold. For the final touch I sprayed some pearlized water and added some dots using gold Irresistible Pico embellisher.
Maybe a real brush stroke would have been a better choich, but I decided for a stencil. Watercoloring is one of my weaknesses:).
