Today’s card is my take on the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and I used the colours from the Color Throwdown.
From the Throwdown colours I chose dark blue as my main colour. I made cutting files for the sentiment and a feather. The sentiment is handwritten by my husband :). I cut(Cricut) the sentiment and a feather out of a dark blue cardstock which I used as the card base. I stamped Dot Flourishes stamp from Inkadinkado on an orange, beige, light blue and dark blue cardstock using embossing ink and clear heat embossed them. I then cut them with Distressed Edges die from Spellbinders while aligning the stamped images. I mounted the die cut stripes on the dark blue card base as shown in the picture.
To finish off the card I added three rhinestones.
