The new theme of LIM is now “The Eyes Have It” and It should be a one layer card.
For me the one layer card is the most difficult card to make. You need great idea and creativity for a good one layer card. And the eyes…
Finally I found a cat stamp with big eyes. It is a stamp set from Penny Black for winter and the cat wears a winter hat.
So I masked the hat and stamped the cat without the hat on a white card base with memento black ink.
Because I chose a sentiment from Inkadinkado which says “count your rainbows, not your thunderstorms”, I coloured the clothes of the cat in rainbow. The sentiment is stamped on a yellow balloon, which I made with a stencil. I clear embossed the balloon twice and added some glossy accents on the eyes of the cat. The string is hand drawn (oh my shaky hand….)
