Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio January 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release!!!

If you arrived here from Raquel Arribas’ blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio – cute and beautiful floral designs, floral dies, a Folk Art style design, cool hot foil background sets and a script sentiment hot foil set for many occasions, there are so many different styles to choose from! I’m sure it won’t be hard to choose your favorites!

I made two pairs of cards featuring two background hot foil plates. I used the negative hot foil pieces and Solid Hot Foil Plate to make the pairs.

The first set of cards is showcasing the Arch Backdrop Hot Foil Plate and die. I arranged the flowers from Brighter Days set and the Curvy Foliage on the Arch Backdrop backgrounds and added the Fancy Script Words to them.

To created the background of the first card I used the Braided Tag die set along with the Arch Backdrop Hot Foil Plate.

I hot foiled the Arch Backdrop in gold and cut the panel along the third arch line and added the dot pierced pattern using Braided Tag die set. This die set matches perfectly with the curve of the Arch Backdrop! I already ink blended the panel in Sunshine, Apricot, Coral Reef and Sparkling Rose before hot foiling. I foam mounted the tag shape on a soft pink cardbase and adhered the negative part flat.

The Brighter Days images were heat embossed in gold and stenciled using the Layering Stencil set. I used Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum for the flower and Fresh Pear and Grassy Knoll for the leaves. I cut them with the coordinating die and arranged them along with the Curvy Foliage on the tag.

The sentiment from Fancy Script Words set was hot foiled in gold on white cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. I finished off the card with a few Gold Metallic Pearls and by tying a bow with some pink baker’s twine and gold thread in the tag hole.

The background for the second card was made using the negative hot foil left from the first card and the Solid Hot Foil plate.

To create the background I first cut a white panel with the Sparkling Diamonds die and adhered it on a white cardbase. Next I cut the hot foiled panel using the Arch Backdrop die and foam mounted it on the card.

Next pair of cards is showcasing the Geo Blocks Hot Foil Plate and Beautiful Blooms set. I hot foiled the background in Rose Gold and used the negative hot foil to make the left card in the picture below.

I cut a square from the same area of both panels using a die from Diagonal Stitched Squares die set and switched them to add some interest to my cards.

For the next card I used the negative hot foil of the Geo Blocks Hot Foil Plate and Solid Hot Foil Plate! It’s so cool to be able to use up the precious foils 🙂 !!!

I foam mounted the background panel on a white cardbase and adhered the square from the white background (s. next card) onto the open space.

I stamped the Beautiful Blooms stamps in Detail Black and stenciled them using the Layering Stencil set. This purple flower was stenciled in Soft Lilac and Lavender and the leaves in Ocean Breeze, Fresh Pear and Aquamarine. I cut the images using the coordinating die.

I cut some Curvy Foliage from some white cardstock and arranged them with the purple flower on the card as shown in the picture. I ink blended the bottom part of the hot foiled sentiment from the Fancy Script Words set in Soft Lilac and Lavender and added four light purple enamel dots from Happy Blooms to go with the flower!

For the next card I colored the Geo Blocks pattern using the Layering Stencil set.

I used my favorite color mix for the background : Coral Reef, Apricot and Sunshine. They are also used to stencil the flowers from Beautiful Blooms set. The first layer of the flowers were stenciled in Apricot, Coral Reef and Sparkling Rose, the second layer in Bubble Gum and Clementine. The first layer of the leaves were stenciled in Fresh Pear and Ocean Breeze and the second layer in Aquamarine. The flowers were cut with the coordinating die and set aside.

I adhered the stenciled Geo Blocks background on a white cardbase and foam mounted the square that was cut from the background of the previous card. I cut a scalloped square frame from some white cardstock using the Stitched Scallop Square die set and adhered it on the square panel.

Next the flowers were mounted on the square panel and the hot foiled sentiment from the Fancy Script Words set next to it. To finish off I scattered a few Sparkling Champagne Metallic Pearls.
