Hello everyone! Hope you’re doing well!
Today I have a floral birthday card to share with you, as it’s time for a reminder post for The latest Flower Challenge with the theme “OCCASIONS”
The floral stamp is called Noteworthy Blooms by The Ton. I watercolored it and put it on a watercolored background and added a birthday sentiment!
I stamped the Noteworthy Blooms image on a Canson XL watercolor paper in Caviar hybrid ink, which is watercolor and Copic friendly. I then watercolored the flowers. I love violet anemones so I colored one in my card in violet 🙂 ! Other flowers were colored in pink in various shades and in yellow.
After the coloring was done I sprayed pink and violet watercolor on the flowers and cut the image using the coordinating die.
To create the background I first watercolored a Mixed Media paper panel in the colors I used for the flowers. I also splattered the same colors on the panel and let it dry. To add some texture I dry embossed the panel using the Convention Coverplate die and adhered it on a white cardbase.
The floral cluster was then added using foam tape to the card. I splattered white opaque ink on the whole card and let it dry.
The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Birthday set which was stamped in Noir and Grape Crush.
I finished off the card by scattering a few Crystal Clear Rainbow Rhinestones.
That’s it from me! Please stop by The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from our guest Trina and my talented team mates!
Hope you got some inspiration from my card today and will play along!
Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous flowers TaeEun and the background embossed with the die gives a lovely pattern without being too busy, and soft washy look enhances it just enough. x
