Hello !
I’m popping in again with a clean and simple card! It’s time for a reminder post for The Flower Challenge with the theme, CAS (clean and simple).
I used a poppy die set called Recollection (51-740) by Penny Black.
I cut the layers of the poppy from the Recollection (51-740) set from some watercolor paper. I watercolored the die cut elements using Gansai Tambi watercolor. I let them dry and assembled the poppy.
To add some interest to the background I cut a white card front using the Textural die (51-729) and ink blended the bottom right corner of it in green after I masked the edges.
The sentiment from the So Thankful (30-914) set was stamped in black directly on the card front. I adhered the stem of the poppy flat on the card and foam mounted the poppy flower.
Please hop over to The Flower Challenge blog to see what my talented team mates and our guest Marcia Hill have created to inspire you!
Looking forward to seeing your projects in the gallery!
Thanks for looking!

This is soooo pretty! I adore your layers, the entire layout, and how you styled the center of the flower!
I love the depth of color on your poppy, TaeEun. Beautiful card!
