Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio May 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release Blog Hop!!!

If you arrived here from Susi Becerra Jimenez’ Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! As always there are beautiful floral designs with layering stencil sets debuting today!!! And also some coverplate dies, hot foil plate with coordinating stencil set are available which are great for some unique backgrounds!

I made three cards for the blog hop! First two cards are showcasing the Botanical Bunch sets. It’s a three piece product suite with a stamp, layering stencil set and a die. For the background I used the new coverplate dies.

In the first card I stenciled the flowers of the Botanical Bunch set using the layering stencil set.

I stamped the Botanical Bunch image two times in Detail Black and stenciled them in pink and blue. For the Flowers I used the color family Fairy Dust (Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum and Raspberry Bliss) and for the greenery I chose Blue Jay and Stargazer.

After stenciling I cut both images using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background I first masked the perimeter of a white A2 sized panel and ink blended the center part in Blue Sky very lightly. Then I cut the panel using the Stitched Diamonds coverplate die and adhered it on a white cardbase. I cut a white frame using Folk Edge Rectangles die set and foam mounted it before I added the Botanical Bunch image on the top and bottom of the card.

The sentiment from the Modern Script Sentiments set was stamped in Detail Black and cut with the coordinating die. To finish off I scattered some Sky Blue Jewels.

For the next card I stamped the Botanical Bunch in Peach Fuzz on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored the flowers in no line coloring style.

I watercolored the flowers in various Spring flower colors and ink blended the bottom of the panel in Key Lime. I cut the image partially only the left part of it using the coordinating die.

The sentiment from the Grant Yourself Grace set was stamped in Detail Black directly on the colored panel.

I cut an A2 sized green cardstock using the Hexagon Tiles coverplate die and adhered it on a white cardbase. Next I added the colored panel on it using foam tape. A few Emerald City Jewels finished off the card.

The last card for today is featuring the Grant Yourself Grace and Stained Glass product suites.

Th roses from the Grant Yourself Grace set was gold heat embossed on Neenah solar white cardstock. I wanted red on gold so I stenciled the roses in Coral Reef, Passion Fruit and Candy Apple using the layering stencil set. The small flowers are stenciled in Sweet Mustard and Apricot. The leaves were stenciled in the natural green using Key Lime and Olive. I love the hint of orange in the leaves 🙂 ! I cut the roses using the coordinating die and set them aside.

gg-4-2

I hot foiled the Stained Glass in gold on some beige cardstock. To add a bit of neutral colors to the background I used the coordinating Layering stencil set. I ink blended the larger rhomboids in white and left the smaller ones not stenciled. I then ink blended Apricot lightly through the third stencil.

I adhered the background panel on a white cardbase and added a vellum circle on which I hot foiled a circle in gold using the Nested Circles hot foil plate.

Next I arranged the roses on the vellum circle and added the hot foiled sentiment from the Modern Script Sentiments set. Some shine was added to the card with the Metallic Gold Pearls !

  11. Dear Tae Eun –
There are a lot of talented crafters out there. There really are. You are in the rarified air at the top, though. Your tableaux always make me realize that I am witnessing a true talent and a master crafter. You’re amazing. That last card… white ink via stencil atop beige stock? And that’s just the background for an astonishingly beautiful bouquet — and I, too, loved the hint of orange in the green leaves.
Card #2 is breathtaking. I literally gasped and had to read every detail to learn how you did the no-line watercoloring that came out so beautifully… and the vibrant green that you used alongside it really set it off.
Card #1 is also amazing. Brilliant! Love the Folk Edge die combined w/ the Diamonds coverplate and the deep pink/blue combo. It’s a winner. I might have to copy it, so I hope you do not mind. I’ll gladly give you credit.
