Pinkfresh Studio February 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release Instagram Hop

For today’s hop I made a soft Thank You card with a dreamy watercolored background. I added texture to it by dry embossing the panel using the Nested Arches Hot foil! The florals are from the Arch Florals set.

I started by heat embossing the Arch Florals stamp in white on a Neenah solar white panel. I then stenciled the flowers in soft colors using the coordinating layering stencil set. I stenciled the flowers in Apricot and Coral Reef, the center of the flowers in Sunshine and the leaves in Ocean Breeze. To add some depth to the petals and leaves I added a bit of Candy Apple, Clementine and Meadow to the base of them using the new mini 1/4″ Blending Brushes. After the stenciling I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background I first watercolored a mixed media paper panel in pink, yellow and green very lightly and then ink blended the arch shape in the center of the panel using a stencil from the Arch Florals stencil set making the watercolored pink and yellow areas darker. I ink blended the arch using the blending brushes which I used to stencil yellow and pink colors.

Next I dry embossed the panel with three Nested Arches hot foil plates to add some texture. I splattered white ink on the background panel and let it dry.

I arranged the florals on the card as shown in the picture using foam tape. The sentiment from the Arch Florals set was stamped in Detail Black, cut with the coordinating die and placed on the center of the card. To finish off I embellished the card with a few Magic Potion glitter drops. The Magic Potion glitter drops are in green to purple ombre look. I used glitter drops from the set which are mostly green.
