Today I have a card for CASology and Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge.
The cue word for this week at CASology is WRITE. I’ve taken the cue word literally.
I started off by making a cutting file for a fountain pen and welded the fountain pen with the sentiment written using the font “Alako-bold”. I cut the sentiment and the fountain pen out of a black card stock, the elements of the fountain pen out of silver foil paper, glitter pattern paper and brown card stock with my Cricut. I then die cut a beige green patten paper with the Distressed Edges die from Spellbinders.
I stamped little flowers and leaves using two stamp sets (Botanicals2 and Blossoming buds) from Paper Smooches on the die cut panel and the card base and added some dots using glaze pens. I assembled all the elements as shown in the picture and rounded two diagonal corners to finish off the card. What I tried to show is that the written message flies towards the recipient like fragrance or pixie dust 😉
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!
