I didn’t know that there are blue poppies. For me poppies are blazing red.
As I saw the cord word over at Addicted to CAS, BLUE, blue flowers came into my mind and I googled blue poppy on the internet. And voila! There is blue poppy!

So the poppy stamp from Hero Arts came in action. I stamped only some part of the stamp on the kraft card base, colored with prismacolor colored pencils. I added dots using glaze pens to draw the stamen. For the sentiment I used patterned acetate sheet. Some faux water droplets using glossy accents are the finishing touch.

I’m happy with the way it turned out :), love the prismacolor colored pencils!
