At TIME OUT runs ‘Inspired By Words’ challenge.
They have a quote from the American Poet William Callum Bryant: ‘Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile’

I decided to combine this autumnal challenge with this week’s Less is More Challenge, which is a colour challenge (Jewel colours).

I recently watched a video on Youtube, which shows the dropping technique using alcohol inks. It looked so easy and made fantastic effects on glossy CS. So I purchased some alcohol inks and tried today the technique on two cards.

I think jewels can have whole spectrum of the colours. And the circles made by alcohol inks on the glossy CS are shining beautifully so that they can represent the jewel colours.

For the autumnal feeling I punched some maple leaves and colored them in gold and russet and adhered them on the card.
The sentiment for the burgundy card was made using label maker and tied with some thread which I colored in gold. The sentiment on the lime card was stamped using Staz on ink.

I hope this card is CAS enough for the Less is More Challenge.
