Hello and welcome!
Today I want to show you some cards I made as part of Kathy’s The DailyMarker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I shared them on my Instagram but wanted to post here too.
The first card is a continuing project from my previous post. This time I colored the image from Clearly Besotted with Zig Clean Brush pens. The bottom part of the panel was made with masking, stamping and blending. I stamped the Birthday Border stamp from Technique Tuesday with Hickory Smoke Distress ink and blended Hickory Smoke and Tattered Rose over it. The clouds were masked off using some masking fluid before I colored the sky.
I’m entering this card into Seize the Birthday (without topping).
My second card features the fuchsia from the same stamp set. I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. I actually made bokeh on a yellowish blended background. But it failed, as you can see :). I couldn’t achieve what I wanted. Maybe next time…
I then made a rectangle frame, blended in light brown and splattered some gold ink, before I mounted it using foam tape. I added some gold splatters on the kraft card base too. The sentiment is from Altenew.
The last card for today is another version of one of my previous cards. This time in red, yellow and orange and in a crystal vase :). I added grey shadow using Copic markers. I cut the oval frame out from a dry embossed panel and cut the part of the flowers which will be outside of the frame, so that they can peek out.
