Hi! I have another two cards to share with you today which I made this week.
My first card was made with the inspiration photo over at Inspired by All the Little Things #13 in mind.
Actually I’ve finished the card a few days ago but couldn’t manage to link it up.
I used the April kit from Hero Arts for this card. I stamped and heat embossed the flower once on the card base and two times on another CS to make the layers. I used soft blue embossing powder. I then colored the flowers using Spectrum noir glitter markers and water brush. The leaves were silver heat embossed on the card base and colored in light grey. The layers were glued on the flower of the card base. The silver stamen were made using Pico Embellisher. The butterfly from Inkadinkado was stamped in black and clear heat embossed. I added a bit of yellow on the butterfly and drew the frame using a silver gel pen. To finish off I scattered some clear sequins. The card looks so busy that I decided to go without a sentiment on the card front. To be honest I had and have no idea how I could put a sentiment on this :).
Even though I missed the deadline, I want to show you the beautiful inspiration photo from Inspired by All the Little Things Challenge.
And I want to enter this card into Addicted to Stamps and More #192: Make Your Mark.
My second card is a CASE of Michele’s soft spring card over at Muse Challenge #164.
Her lilac bouquet looks so pretty and reminded me of the scent of lilac we had in the garden in my childhood. I really loved that tree.
As I have no lilac stamps, I used daisies (Delightful day stamp set) from Clearly Besotted. I colored them in purple and magenta using Prismacolor pencils and tried to follow Michele’s layout. The vase was paper pieced, and I blended some grey and purple DIs around it. I cut the circle and the outline of the flowers by hand and mounted it using foam tape on the grey panel, which I embossed with a circle die. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
And here is Michele’s CAS beauty!
