Fresh Cut Poinsettias, Coord. Outlines: Fresh Cut Poinsettias, Holiday Cones, Coord. Outlines: Holiday Cones and Mistletoe Kisses. There are poinsettias, cones and candles; must-have items to get ready for upcoming holiday season in layered look and in outlines for you who love to color in!!!

Today’s Couture Mix is called Elf Stockings!
All our new stamps, dies and Couture Mixes will be available TOMORROW!!!
For today I’ve created two cards with poinsettias.
My first card is a shaker card featuring the Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp set. I started off by stamping a layered poinsettia image four times in our Lipstick Red, Valentine Red and Pink Derby dye inks. For more depth I stamped the third layer once more in Pink Derby. The center of the poinsettias was gold heat embossed. I then drew a circle in the middle of the panel and cut the shaker window along the circle and outlines of stamped poinsettias. I added gold glitter border to the shaker window using our Gold Adhesive Glitter paper.
For the background of the shaker window I gold heat embossed the biggest firework image from the Pyrotechnics stamp set. For the shaker element I used the gold sequins from Cinderella’s Ride Couture Mix and red sequins from our new Santa’s Sneezes Couture Mix.
The sentiment is from the Mistletoe Kisses stamp set. I gold heat embossed it on a piece of clear acetate sheet and cut it to make a double fishtail banner. I then adhered the both ends of the banner using two golden rhinestones and glue dots onto the card.
For my second card I used the Coord. Outlines: Fresh Cut Poinsettias.
I stamped the poinsettias and single leaves from the Coord. Outlines: Fresh Cut Poinsettias in embossing ink on some watercolor cardstock along with some masking and heat embossed them in white. These blue poinsettias were colored with Zig brush markers. On the center of the poinsettias I added dots using yellow Pico embellisher. I then cut a circle out from the middle of the panel with cutting machine. I set aside the circle for the sentiment and colored the outside of the circle in light blue. The sentiment is from the Mistletoe Kisses stamp set. I heat embossed it in silver on the circle. I cut one more circle slightly larger than that from a vellum, matted it under the circle with the sentiment and adhered it onto the front panel. To finish off the card I added a few Sequins from the Glass Slippers sequins Mix.
