Hello and happy Thursday!
Today starts a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!
The new Toppings option for next fortnight is INLAY DIE CUTS.
As always you can link up any newly created birthday card!
For my part I created water color background using embossing resist technique and a rose background stamp from Impression Obsession and inlaid a sentiment die cut on it.
To start off I stamped the rose background on a watercolor paper in embossing ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then colored the roses with Peerless watercolor and Zig brush markers. I die cut the birthday from the panel and again from a silver glitter card stock with Birthday word die from The Ton. I placed the silver sentiment into the watercolored panel and foam mounted the panel on my white card base. I added the happy from Basic Labels stamp set by The Ton in Grand Fuchsia. To finish off I added some pretty sequins.
I had so much fun making this card. Hope you are having a fun crafty time with our Toppings option as well!
Please don’t forget to hop over to the Seize the Birthday blog to see the awesome creations of my fellow DT members and our Surprise party guest Rahmat Gouse.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!
