Hello all!
We are half way through February and it’s time for a reminder post for The Flower Challenge #5: CASE our Guest Designer.
Our guest designer Therese Calvird from Lost in Paper has created a beautiful CAS card for us.
And this is my second CASE of her card.
This time I went with the same layout like Therese’s card with the elements moved to the top of the card, but I chose bold colors for my flower. The die cut hibiscus is my own design I made for my previous card. I cut it from a white card stock with my Cricut, blended DIs and placed it again into the negative panel and glued a piece of acetate underneath the panel like Therese did for her card. Set the panel aside, I colored a piece of watercolor card stock in red and orange using Gansai Tambi watercolor, mounted it on the card base and added the front panel on it using some foam adhesive. My hubby wrote the sentiment for me to make it into a cutting file. I really like his handwriting :). I cut it four times from white card stock. I blended yellow and orange DIs to give it an ombre look, heat embossed it using clear glitter EP, stack them all together and glued it on the card. To finish off I added some dots using Pico Embellisher.
I hope I could inspire you with my card. Please visit The Flower Challenge blog for more inspirations from my fellow DT members!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Looking forward to seeing your CASE of Therese’s card in the gallery!
Happy crafting!
