Hello and happy Saturday!
It’s me again popping in to share a special card with you today!
Inspired by All the Little Things celebrates today their 50th challenge!!! Congratulations, ladies!
Karren Johnson from Stamping Stuff invited me as her guest to the festivity and of course I didn’t want to miss this chance :). She sent me this picture of a beautifully decorated party table.
The first elements in the picture, which attracted my attention, were the greenery and lights on the backdrop, and the classy vase with a bouquet of coral flowers. And I wanted to show the warm atmosphere with some gold accents.
To start off I stamped a rose bouquet and the vase from Delightful Day stamp set from Clearly Besotted on Oatmeal cardstock from WPlus9 in light green, light pink and light blue respectively for the leaves, roses and the vase and colored them with Polychromos colored pencils. I then die cut the top and left part of the panel using the leaf die from Petal Cut Peonies Standalone dies by The Ton. For the green background I colored a A2 size watercolor paper panel using Gansai Tambi watercolor. I then splattered gold watercolor on the green panel and the front panel after masking the flower. I blended Vintage photo and Antique Linen distress ink on the bottom part of the front panel, added stitch lines on the right and bottom edge using Double Stitched Rectangle die from The Ton and foam mounted it on the green panel.
I made some golden branches with the same gold color I used for splatter and added it onto the card. The sentiment in black is from the same stamp set. Some sequins from I Dream in Peach Couture Mix by The Ton were the finishing touch.
I’m so happy with how this card turned out. Hope you like it, too :)!
Thanks again for inviting me, Karren!
Please hop over to Inspired by All the Little Things and join in the celebration!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
