Hello and Welcome to Day 2 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release!

Today we have three new clear stamp sets with coordinating dies and three new Couture Mixes to share with you. Wildflower Banner and Wishful Wildflowers have cluster images of some wildflowers which look like cosmos flower. I’m sure some of you must have the perfume bottles from Marvelous Perfumes :)! The new Couture Mixes are called Pink Diamond, Pretty Petals and Hot Cocoa.

Let’s take a look at my cards!
My first card was made using one of the incentive stamp, Sunflower Cluster Mini.
To start off I stamped Sunflower Cluster Mini on a white cardstock three times to make a wavy line out of them. I used Vanilla Frosted Cupcake for no-line coloring. I colored the sunflowers with Copic markers and added details using Polychromos pencils. I added gray shade along the upper outline and fussy cut the lower outline of the image. I foam mounted the panel on my red card base on which I gold heat embossed the Minor Stripes. I borrowed the sentiment from Wildflower Banner, stamped it in Noir. It was already curved so perfect to align to my image. To finish off I added two gold sequins from Medallion Gold and one red from Valentine Frosting Couture Mix.
For my second card I used Wishful Wildflowers and Marvelous Perfumes.
I stamped the flower cluster from Wishful Wildflowers in embossing ink and heat embossed in white on a Bristol smooth paper. After masking the image I heat embossed a bottle from Marvelous Perfumes stamp set in Rose Gold. I then masked the bottle and white heat embossed one solo flower to make a faux triangle edge. Coloring was done with Zig brush markers. I added gray shade to the lower edge of the image for some dimension and blended Hollywood Star on the bottom part of the panel. The sentiment is from Marvelous Perfumes. I stamped it in Light Onyx first and heat embossed only “fabulous” in Rose Gold slightly offset. Finishing touch was a few sequins from Violet Sprinkle Couture Mix and some yellow dots using Pico embellisher.
The last card is featuring Wildflower Banner. The banner is already integrated in the flower cluster, so you don’t need to brainstorm about where the sentiment should go :)!
For this card I started off by making watercolor background. I created a watercolor wash on a watercolor cardstock in green and blue using several Distress inks, splattered clear water and blue ink on it. I then stamped Wildflower Banner in copic-friendly Caviar Hybrid ink. I colored the image using Copic markers and colored the center part of the petals using white gel pen. For more sharp image I stamped it again in Caviar Hybrid after coloring and clear heat embossed it with the help of Misti tool. I wanted the sentiment to pop, so I decided to make the banner on a separate white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Noir, fussy cut the banner and foam mounted it on the card. To finish off I added a few sequins from Summer Skies (debuting on Day4) and Winter Thaw Couture Mix.
