It is the last day of November! I have a card for Altenew November Inspiration Challenge to share with you. Last minute, I know :).
I love the color combination Sveta has picked for this challenge. Maybe it is too late for an autumnal card. But I think it could make an elegant mix for all occasions.
I started off by heat embossing the long greenery from Floral Frame in Gold Pearl EP on dark brown cardstock. I then colored the leaves using Prismacolor pencils in yellow and orange. I sprinkled FineTec gold paint on it and cut it in the shape as shown in the picture using Double Stitched Rectangle die from The Ton.
The floral cluster is also from Floral Frame set. I first stamped it in embossing ink on a beige cardtock, colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I then heat embossed it in Gold Pearl EP with the help of MISTI and fussy cut it. To add some sparkly gold to the card I adhered gold glitter tape from Altenew’s New Day Card Kit on the kraft cardbase and foam mounted the brown panel on it. I picked the sentiment from Persian Motifs set. I white heat embossed the sentiment on the same dark brown cardstock as the front panel and matted it with a strip of white cardstock on which I added the gold glitter tape. I added the sentiment strip and the floral cluster onto the card. I finished off the card with a few sequins from Medallion Gold mix from The Ton.
