Hello again!
I have one more card to share today, as it’s time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!
The Toppings option for this time is CANDLES!
I made a card with candles but you may enter any newly created birthday card, if you don’t want to take our Topping.
My card is a shaker card with six shaker candles.
I started off by making a cutting file for the candles and cut them from a pink cardstock with my Cricut. To create the background I marked the position of the candles on a separate white cardstock and blended DIs in rainbow colors on the area for the candles along with masking. To make the candle flames I adhered double sided tape and rubbed yellow and orange glitter on it. The sentiment from SSS was stamped in purple on the front panel. I then started assembling the shaker card. I used small beads in the same color like the background as shaker elements. For more interest I drew stripes on the candles using a white glaze pen.
