Hello and Happy Tuesday!!!

Today I have a floral shaker card to share with you I made for The Flower Challenge #20 : Acetate/Vellum. We arrived at the halfway point of this month and this is the reminder post of our 20th challenge!

In the card for the first post I used vellum and this time I decided to use acetate.
Shaker card is the first thing pops in my mind when I have to use acetate on a card. I used Dahlia Bouquet from The Ton to create the background of my shaker window.

I stamped Dahlia Bouquet image on a piece of Canson mixed media paper in Versafine black pigment ink and watercolored it. I then glued the panel on my cardbase placing the bouquet on the right side of the card. To cut the window I aligned a textured cream cardstock and the coordinating die for Dahlia Bouquet with the colored panel and cut the cream panel. I prepared the front panel by adhering the acetate on the back, stamping the sentiment from Always Cherry Blossoms set in Noir and adding foam tape.
I glued some iridescent rhinestones on the flower center and here and there on the colored panel and added some iridescent and silver sequins as shaker element when I assembled the shaker card.
I finished off the card with a orange ribbon.

Hope I could inspire you to make maybe some shaker card for our challenge :)!
