Altenew October 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

I started by stamping one bauble from  Brilliant Baubles stamp set in embossing ink onto the center of a white A2 sized panel. I silver heat embossed the body and gold heat embossed the cap and the decorations on the bauble. I sponged light yellow and light green inks on the bauble.  I stamped the bauble again on a same spot of another A2 sized panel in black and cut it using a cutting machine. Of course you can use the coordinating die!


To start off I created watercolor washed papers using Altenew Watercolor pan set. I then cut them with Layered Floral Elements Die set and assembled them together after the guide included in the package.


 I dry embossed a gray cardstock using  Fine Frames Cover die to add some texture on the background. On a cream cardbase I foam mounted the gray panel and arranged the floral cluster on it as shown in the picture. The white heat embossed sentiment is from Blooming Branches set. I finished off the card with some clear and iridescent sequins.


I stamped first the flower outlines from Playful Blooms set in Jet Black and clear heat embossed them to make the color pop. I repeated the process while masking when needed. I then stamped the solid stamps to fill the flowers. I used Pocketful of Sunshine and Warm and Cozy mini ink set for the yellow-orange flowers and Glacier Caves mini ink set for the blue ones.


After the stamping was done, I fussy cut the outlines of the bottom edge and foammounted the panel onto a navy cardbase. The sentiment from Playful Blooms was stamped in Jet Black and fussy cut. I added Glossy Accents on the sentiment for some dimension and shine.




To start off I stamped the Winter Cottage image in Sand Dunes mini ink from Coffee Break set on a watercolor cardstock. I colored it roughly using Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers and Sand Dunes and Mocha mini inks. I used the Sea Breeze Brush Marker to color the sky and colored a mixed media paper panel in the same color to cut the snowflakes.
