How fast time flies by! It’s already time for the first challenge of November at Seize the Birthday! The Toppings option for the next fortnight is CAS (Clean and Simple).
As always you may enter any birthday card, if you want to!
I’ve made a one layer birthday card keeping a large area white.
I started by stamping the poppy from Fresh Cut Poppies coordinating Outlines set by The Ton in Caviar Hybrid ink. I then masked the poppy image and the border of the panel to make a small rectangle background. I then blended Peacock Feather, Broken China and Vintage Photo DOX on the background and splattered pearlized water on it.
I colored the poppy using Copic markers. The sentiment is from Penned Sentiments set by The Ton. It was stamped in Aspen Cocoa ink. To keep the card simple I didn’t add any embellishment.
I was quite happy with the result, because the card turned out as I thought :).
