Hello everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the weekend!
I’m popping in to share two more cards I made using new stamps from Dreaming Release by Penny Black!
For my first card I created the floral border using the images from Flower Collection (30-575) set. The sentiment is from Beautiful Heart (30-550).
I white heat embossed the images from Flower Collection (30-575) set on a Canson watercolor paper panel making the floral border. I then watercolored the images. I used Color Burst powders and Mijello Mission Gold watercolor.
The sentiment was stamped in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed on the center of the panel. The panel was mounted flat on a white cardbase and this one layer card was finished.
For next card I used the adorable Ballet Beauty (30-540) set combined with the gorgeous sentiment from Destination Sentiments (30-590) set.
I stamped the little one on a Bristol smooth paper panel in Antique Linen DI and colored her using Zig brush markers. I colored the floor in gray and left the spotlight on it uncolored. I then ink blended the dark background in Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord and Black Soot. I splattered white ink on the panel while masking the little ballerina.
The spotlight was created by blending white pigment ink on the dark background. While the white pigment ink was still wet I sprinkled the iridescent sparkle EP on it and heat set to add some sparkle on the light.
The sentiment from Destination Sentiments (30-590) set was then heat embossed on the panel in gold. I narrowed down the panel a bit and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. To finish off I scattered some iridescent sequins.
I was quite happy with the results. Hope you enjoyed looking my cards too!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!! I always appreciate your lovely and encouraging comments!
Have a nice weekend!
Hugs,
