It’s a busy day on my blog today :)!
I’m popping in to share my reminder card for the latest Flower Challenge! We are asked to use our favorite flowers on our projects.
I love poppies. There are so many beautiful poppy stamp sets out there and some of which are also in my stash. But this time I wanted to draw some by myself. I searched for some poppy images on Pinterest to use them as my reference.
I sketched the poppies on a watercolor paper panel and colored it using Color Burst. I didn’t pay much attention to the details. After the coloring was done I splattered red watercolor and white opaque ink on the image. I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and stamped the sentiment from Message Me set by Clearly Besotted on the panel in black pigment ink. I clear heat embossed the sentiment and foam mounted the panel on a pale pink cardbase.
