I want to share my card I made for today’s Instagram hop here on my blog too, so you don’t miss anything :).
My card is featuring Holiday Trio set from The Ton Fall 2019 Release.
I white heat embossed the three gift boxes on a watercolor paper panel. To add color I chose “smooshing” technique. I scribbled Aquamarine, Amethyst and Pink Garnet Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and silver watercolor on a clear acetate sheet, sprayed lots of water and pressed the panel with the white heat embossed image on it. I repeated the precess until I was happy with the result.
I lifted a little bit of color from the background to make the image stand out. I masked the image and splattered white opaque ink on the background. After the panel was dry, I cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on a navy cardbase. I adhered a strip of Adhesive glitter paper Glossy Fine Silver on the cardbase to add more sparkle and shine.
The sentiment is also from Holiday Trio set. I stamped it in Plum Wine and Deep Sapphire cut it using a small Double Stitched Circle die . I added a silver glitter circle underneath it and foam mounted it on the card along with a nest of silver thread. I finished off by scattering some sequins from Lilac Blossoms and Purple Ballgown Couture Mix.
