Hello and happy Friday everyone!
Today I have three Fall themed cards to share with you. This post is full of Fall colors 🙂 !!!
I had the pleasure to play with Penny Black’s Autumn Bliss release stamp and die sets recently. For today’s cards I chose the dainty and natural stamp sets: Acorn and Animals(30-599), Golden Delight (30-601) and Autumn Bliss(30-600).
This is my first card. I did some no line coloring on the beautiful fox and leaves from Acorn and Animals (30-599) and Autumn Bliss (30-600) and placed them on a shiny copper base.
I stamped the fox and leaves on Canson watercolor paper in Antique Linen DI and watercolored them using Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I cut them out, some of the leaves using coordinating dies of Autumn Bliss Cut Out (51-590), and set them aside.
The background panel was made using a metallic copper cardstock. I heat embossed the pretty wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) and the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) on it in metallic copper EP to get a tone on tone look.
I mounted the slightly narrowed background panel on a white cardbase and arranged the leaves to put the fox on them. The die for the sentiment is from Blushing Cut Out (51-536). I cut the sentiment three times from some white cardstock and added it onto the card. I finished off the card by adding some gold and bronze rhinestones.
The second card is featuring a prettily decorated pumpkin from Autumn Bliss(30-600) set and again the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) set.
I stamped the pumpkin on a solar white paper in light brown ink and colored it using Copic markers. After the coloring was done I gold heat embossed the image again with the help of MISTI tool and cut it using the coordinating die.
To create the background I used the acrylic block stamping technique. I chose a 2.5″ x 3.5″ block, scribbled yellow, orange and dark red Distress inks on it, sprayed pearlized water and pressed it onto a watercolor paper panel. I repeated the process to get the look I wanted.
After the panel was dry I gold heat embossed the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) twice on it as shown in the picture. I then dry embossed the panel using a Stitched Loops die (51-573) to give the colored rectangle a frame. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from Golden Delight (30-601) stamp set on it in dark brown.
I foam mounted the background panel on a kraft cardbase and added the pumpkin on it using some foam adhesives. Some Medallion Gold sequins by The Ton were my finishing touch.
The last card for today is a square card. I thought the cute wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) set would fit perfectly on a square card :)!
First I made the background panel. I used Hazelnut, Butterscotch, Sunshine Yellow and Mountain Rose alcohol ink to create a Fall colored panel. On a Yupo panel I sprayed lots of rubbing alcohol, added the droplets of alcohol inks and blew to blend them. And then I splattered gold Mixative on it.
The wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) was stamped in a light ink on a solar white paper panel, colored using Copic markers and then gold heat embossed. I cut the wreathe using Golden Delight Cut Out (51-589).
I cut the background Yupo panel in a square, matted it with a dark brown square panel and added them on a white cardbase. The wreath was foam mounted on it. The sentiment was gold heat embossed on a strip of the same dark brown cardstock I used for the background, and added onto the card.
Hope you enjoyed looking my Fall themed cards!
