Hello everyone!
It’s Seize the Birthday Thursday again! This time around we want you to feature some great and small creatures in your projects! This Topping was chosen by our sweet team member Cathy!
But if you don’t want to take our Toppings option, you may enter any birthday themed projects into our gallery!
This sweet bear from Penny Black, called Little Charmer (30-662), has been on my desk and wanted to be featured in my card 🙂 !
I stamped Little Charmer (30-662) on Bristol smooth paper in a black pigment ink and colored the bear with Zig brush markers. I used a water brush to blend the colors. After the coloring was done and the panel was dry I cut it using the coordinating Cut Out (51-606).
To create the background I colored a watercolor paper piece in yellow Distress inks using smooshing technique. After the panel was dry I cut it using one of the dies from Stitches of Love set (51-597) and stamped the sentiment from Tweet Tweet (30-156) set in black.
I foam mounted the background panel on a kraft cardbase and added the bear to it using foam adhesives.
