Hello everyone! Hope your having a wonderful weekend :)!

It’s time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge. The theme for February is “Add Leaves”. Of course floral image should be the main actor for your projects!

To add leaves to my card I used the Foliage Frame die from Pinkfresh Studio.

To start off I stamped a bunch of flowers and leaves from Wild Flower Sketches set by Pinkfresh Studio in their dye inks. The leaves were stamped using the inks from Over the Hills ink set. For the flowers I used the yellow colors from Rise and Shine set, the pink colors of Fairy Dust set, purple ones from Soul of Provence set and the light blue ones from Morning Sky set. After stamping I cut them all using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

Next I cut the  Foliage Frame from some watercolor paper. To make the die cut frame sturdier I cut one more frame from some heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them together. I the colored the frame using Key Lime and Emerald City watercolor.

While the frame was drying, I prepared the cardbase. I ink blended the border of the cardbase in Grassy Knoll and Key Lime and splattered Key Lime watercolor and opaque white ink on it.

The word hello was cut using Sentiment Suite: Hello die set , also by Pinkfresh Studio, from some white cardstock which I ink blended in the same green colors in an ombre fashion. To add some shine I clear heat embossed the die cut sentiment two times and adhered it on the cardbase.

To add the little flowers from Wild Flower Sketches set I arranged them on the bottom part of the Foliage Frame. I then added the frame to the cardbase using foam adhesives.
To finish off the card I scattered some clear iridescent sequins.
