The Ton February 2020 Release

I’ve made two cards. Let’s take a look!
For my first card I used Peony Memories Cardmaking set and Confetti Borders set.
To start off I stamped the three layers of the peonies in Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria hybrid ink and the leaves in Crystal Pewter, Smoky Quartz and Light Onyx. I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.
For the background I stamped the starry confetti border from Confetti Borders set in the same pink inks like the peonies. I stamped the ombre confetti two times as shown in the picture leaving a strip in the middle of the panel. I silver heat embossed the large sentiment and the small one was stamped in Light Onyx.
I mounted the background panel flat on a light gray cardbase and arranged the flower cluster on it. I finished off the card with some Glass Slippers round confetti sequins.
The second card is showcasing the Lovely Lily and the 2d Ed Fill it In set. As I haven’t got the Lovely Lily stamp yet, I used the digital image.
I printed the Lovely Lily on Canson watercolor paper. I added several leaves by stamping a solid leaf from Large Florals: Carnation set in Soft Garden after masking the flower image. I then colored it using Karin Brushmarkers. I added details on the petals using Polychromos colored pencils.
After the coloring was completed I stamped the confetti border on the left side in the colors from Crystal Garden collection. I cut the panel using the Double Stitched Rectangle die. The sentiment from 2d Ed Fill it In set was stamped in Noir and I added the filling sentiment by gold heat embossing. I finished off the card by scattering some sequins from Lemon Chiffon sequins and Bell’s Dress Couture Mix.
