I’ve made a card using Extra Special stamp and die set. This set is one of the stamp sets, 20{3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e} of the profits (until Father’s Day, June 16th, 2019) of which, will be donated to the Food Bank of Central New York to support seniors in need.
I started off by creating the background. I stamped the Extra Special stamp three times on a teal cardstock panel in Emerald ink and colored them using Prismacolor colored pencils. I used light pink, white along with various shades of teal colors. After the coloring was done, I ink blended the bottom part of the background panel in Lagoon and Emerald to make the area darker.
I stamped and heat embossed one more Extra Special image on a separate heavyweight white cardstock in Copper embossing powder. This time I colored the image using metallic acrylic paint in iridescent white, silver, gold and copper. After the paint was dry I cut it using the coordinating die.
On the front of a white cardbase I ink blended Vintage Photo and Antique Linen DI and foam mounted the background panel on it after I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set in white.
I added the floral cluster onto the card using some foam tape and finished off the card with three yellow rhinestones on the center of the flowers.
