Hello and welcome to my blog!
Today is the Seize the Birthday Thursday! Our new toppings option for next fortnight chosen by our lovely team mate JoAnn is ” Cards for Kids “! Easy peasy, right :)?
I chose this cute little girl by Penny Black. This mini clear stamp is called Lolly (30-688). The perfect sentiment for our challenge is also in the stamp set included.
I stamped the girl in Antique Linen DI on a Bristol smooth paper to do some no line coloring using Karin brush markers. After the coloring was done I ink blended on a rectangle in the size of the third Simple Stackers die (51-613) in light blue, light green DI. I added a little bit of pink to the sides.
I stamped the sentiment in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. I then cut the colored panel using the largest die of the Simple Stackers die (51-613) and mounted it flat on a soft pink cardbase.
Next I cut the frame using the second and third Simple Stackers dies (51-613) from some textured soft pink cardstock and foam mounted the frame on the card. I finished off the card by adding a clear rhinestone to the flower center on her head.
That’s it! Hope you’ll play along with us! As always you may enter any birthday themed project into our gallery!
