I have four cards to share with you today!
My first card is featuring our new layering floral stamp sets, Rose of Sharon and Floral Bits. There are coordinating Coverplate dies for this sets, which cut the several flowers and bits through one pass.

I started off by stamping bunch of  Rose of Sharons and Floral Bits on Neenah solar white paper. The rectangles and small squares on this stamp set make the aligning of the layers super easy!

sor3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b53ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2bwm-3743849

To stamp the five layers of the Rose of Sharon I used Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink, Grand Fuchsia and Spiced Chai. The stamen was stamped in Lemon Drop and the leaves in Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Everglade Moss.  For the Floral Bits I used Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Coralline hybrid, Soft Garden and Bright Fern. I cut them using the coordinating dies (Rose of Sharon, Floral Bits) and set them aside.

To create the background I white heat embossed the Modern Plaid background on a white cardstock panel and ink blended the center part of it in Soft Garnet, Lemon Drop and Soft Garden.  I foam mounted the background on a white cardbase and arranged the flowers and leaves on it as shown in the picture. Some of them were placed using foam tape.  The sentiment is also from the Rose of Sharon stamp set which I heat embossed on a strip of gray cardstock.
To finish off I added some sequins from Summer Soiree Couture Mix, Lemon Chiffon and Glass Slippers sequins.

The next card is featuring the Wild Rose Close Up and Layered Spring Alphas stamp sets. The Layered Spring Alphas set is another awesome alphabets embellished with tiny floral elements in a modern font. There is a coordinating die in a coverplate style.

The Wild Rose Close Up was white heat embossed on a panel that I watercolored first in Color Burst in violet and cerulean blue. To add some highlight to the image I lifted the colors by adding clear water on the area of highlights and dabbing it off. For darker shades I used my Polychromos colored pencils.

I narrowed down the colored panel a little bit and mounted it on a navy cardbase. I added a strip of vellum on it on which I white heat embossed the sentiment from Layered Spring Alphas set. The letters from Layered Spring Alphas were stamped in Noir, the flowers in Plum Wine, Cali Blue, Lemon Drop, Soft Garden and Hot Tourmaline and cut using the coordinating die .

I added the letters using some foam adhesives onto the vellum strip. The finishing touch for this card was some Glass Slippers sequins.

The third card for today is showing the beautiful Story Rose image.

To start off I stamped the Story Rose in a light ink to do some no-line coloring. I colored it with Mijello Mission Gold watercolor and added more shade using Polychromos colored pencils. I cut the right side of the image using a kraft knife.

sr3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b53ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2bwm-9721408

I chose a light green cardbase for this rose, stamped the Diagonal Stripes in Soft Garden on the front of it and foam mounted the image on it. The sentiment is also from Story Rose. I white heat embossed it directly on the cardbase.

To finish off I scattered some clear Dew Drops on the card.

My last card is showcasing the Floral Balloon stamp set.

I stamped the image in a black pigment ink on a Bristol vellum paper, slightly offset to the top. I then colored the image using Karin brush markers. I colored the hot air balloon in rainbow colors and the flowers in pink.
I masked the floral balloon and ink blended the clouds using a DIY cloud stencil and Soft Garnet, Cali Blue, Soft Garden and Lemon Drop inks.

fb3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b43ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2bwm-4303393

I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on a light gray cardbase.  The sentiment from the Floral Balloon set was white heat embossed on a scrap of white cardstock. I ink blended it in Soft Garnet and cut using a Double Stitched Rectangle die . I added a thin strip of cardstock to the card, which I inked in Lemon Drop and foam mounted the sentiment on it. Some Glass Slippers Round Confetti sequins were added and yellow Stickles on the florals, and the card was finished!
