Hello everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! The theme for April is Spring/Autumn! Of course we didn’t forget you in the southern hemisphere :)!  Hope you and your family are all doing fine in these unusual times and you could find some crafty time to play.

We are being sponsored this month by the amazing Bugaboo Stamps with a $12 gift code for our winner , (approx 4 digital stamps). Such beautiful and fun digital stamps to be found there, do pay them a visit if you haven’t already! All the design team have been given some of their stamps to use on their cards also.

I chose the 4 Block Tulip Square digital image from Bugaboo Stamps for my DT card.

I printed the image on a Neenah solar white paper and colored it using Copic markers. For the tulip I used R32, 35, 37 and 39: for the leaves some BG and YG colors. I colored the background in yellow and fussy cut the four blocks.

I colored the edges of the four blocks in black to cover the white edges. I then clear heat embossed the blocks three times each. I wanted to make them look like tiny tiles.

I took a red cardbase, cut the front of it as shown in the picture and dry embossed it using a Double Stitched Square die. I matted the front side with a cream cardstock. I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Lovely Lily stamp set (The Ton) on the cream panel.

The four blocks were foam mounted on the front of the card. I added two Medallion Gold sequins (The Ton) to finish off.

I hope you enjoyed looking my DT card! Don’t forget to hop over to The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration! My team mates and our Guest designer Trina P. are waiting for you with beautiful inspiration cards!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

Have a beautiful weekend!
