Hello and happy Friday everyone!
Today I’m celebrating Alex Syberia Design’s June Release with many amazing fellow crafters!
Alex did it again!!! She designed beautiful floral images along with some fun sea shell and fruit arrangements! I also love that she is providing besides usual png, jpg images also a png file with white filled images! With those white filled images you can easily create your own arrangement!
My cards are for the Instagram Hop celebrating Alex Syberia Design June Release. But I wanted to share them here on my blog as well. Hope you will hop along the Instagram hop for tons of inspiration and giveaways!
I’ve made two slimline cards for today’s hop.
My first card is showing the beautiful Tulips digi stamp.
I printed the image made for a slim card on a Canson watercolor paper. I colored the tulips using Ecoline watercolor in Blue Violet, Magenta and Pastel Rose. The leaf and the stems were colored in Grass green, Deep green and Light green. After the flowers were colored I added water in the background and colored it in the same colors I used for the tulips to create the spreading color wash. After the panel was dry I splattered Magenta and Green on the panel.
I cut the panel using a Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die by Pinkfresh Studio. To match with the color of the main panel I ink blended the white card base in Meadow, Candy Violet and Sparkling Rose ink by Pinkfresh Studio as shown in the picture and foam mounted the front panel.
The sentiment was cut using the Many Sentiments die set by The Ton. I cut it three times from some white cardstock and once from silver glitter paper and stacked them together. To finish off I scattered some Like Magic sequins (Neat & Tangled).
Next card is featuring Dog Rose digital stamp. I used the slim card panel image with the integrated sentiment.
I printed the image on a Canson watercolor paper and colored it using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. After the coloring was done I cut the panel using a Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die by Pinkfresh Studio.
To add some interest I masked top and right border and ink blended Worn Lipstick DOX on the panel.
I added the black stamen using a black glaze pen and yellow Stickles to the center of the flowers. As I wanted to keep this card simple I left it without any embellishment and foam mounted the panel on a gray cardbase.
Here are today’s cards together 🙂 !
Hope you enjoyed my cards and got some inspiration for your own projects!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty weekend!
