Hello and happy Sunday everyone!
It’s time for the Pinkfresh Studio June 2020 Challenge. The Theme for this challenge is Diecuts & Cutfiles. You can also find the color palette in the challenge graphic.
I started off by cutting a A2 sized Neenah solar white panel using Color Block Stripes die. I took five stripes from it and ink blended them in Berrylicious, Coral Reef, Sweet Mustard, Summer Shower and Seaside respectively. I mounted the frame and the other stripes flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the ink blended stripes onto their places.
As a focal image I chose a circle frame with a branch from Floral Circles die set. I cut it four times from some white cardstock and stacked them together. I left the small pieces of the leaves on the base layer and colored it using some YG Copics. I added the circle frame to the card with a circle mat which was cut using Braided Circles set from some heavyweight vellum.
The sentiment is from Modern Layered Floral set. To finish off the card I added three pastel enamel dots from My Favorite Story collection.
Hope I was able to inspire you with my card to play along at Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge! One cardmaking entry and one memory-keeping entry will receive a $50 gift card to the Pinkfresh Studio Store! The two winners will be randomly selected based on these two categories.
