Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!
Today I have two cards to share with you which are featuring some products from Refreshing Release by Penny Black – one cute card and one floral one.

The first card is showing a little one enjoying his corn on the cob 🙂 ! So cute! This one is one of the three little kids from the Yummy (30-675) set. Btw I shared the little girl with a piece of watermelon on this previous post.

I stamped the hedgehog from Plant Joy (30-708) set and the little one on a watercolor paper in a black pigment ink. I masked the kid and stamped the bank from Yummy (30-675) set. I then colored the images using Ecoline brush markers. I added more grass on the ground and colored the sky in light blue.

I stamped the sentiment from Words of Encouragement (30-712) set on a piece of white cardstock and cut it using a small Sign (51-608) die. I ink blended the sign in Vintage Photo DI and splattered a bit of water on it. I cut a little hole in the colored panel and tucked the sign in it.

To make the colors of the colored panel continue in the cardbase I ink blended a light blue cardbase in Twisted Citron DI on the bottom and a bit of Broken China on the top and foam mounted the colored panel on it. I finished off the card with some tiny clear sequins placed in the grass.

For the next card I created a floral border using stamps from Refreshing (30-695) set.

I stamped the floral images in Antique Linen DI on a watercolor paper and colored them using Karin brush markers. I added light green watercolor to the background and let the panel dry.

The sentiment from Words of Encouragement (30-712) set was stamped in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed. I mounted the panel on a white cardbase. I drew the stamen using a black glaze pen and added some white dots to the center of the flowers and said it’s done!

ps I’m impatiently waiting for those little munchkins to be BIS at EH!
The first card is adorable, but I keep going back to the second card and your fabulous painting! Wow!
Two gorgeous cards TaeEun and what a sweet and pretty scene for the first, beautifully watercoloured, and love the strips – blue at the top and green at the bottom, which work perfectly, and then your stunning flowers and I love the way you have emphasised the stamens with the black gloss pen which goes so well with the black embossed sentiment. x
Love, love your cards and your colouring in is perfect x
