Hello ! I’m popping in again to share my DT card for the Seize the Birthday challenge! The new Toppings Option was chosen by my lovely team mate Glenda and she wants for us to use non-neutral cardbase for our project.

I used a yellow cardbase for my DT card, pairing it with the beautiful Gathered Anemone Coverplate die and the Trio Anemone Cluster Layering Dies by The Ton.

First I cut the layers for the flowers using the Trio Anemone Cluster Layering Dies from Neenah solar white cardstock. These dies coordinate with the anemone flowers of the Gathered Anemone Coverplate die, which has the outline image (also available as a Bundle). I then colored the layers for the flowers using Yellow Copic markers. I assembled the flowers by layering up the die cut pieces and adhered it on the back of the outline flowers of Gathered Anemone Coverplate which was cut from some heavyweight white cardstock.

I ink blended a yellow cardbase in Coralline hybrid ink and Lemon Drop to create an orange-yellow ombre background. I splattered white opaque ink on it and let it dry.

I foam mounted the floral die cut panel on the cardbase and placed the sentiment on a nest of golden thread. The sentiment was from Easy Expressions: Birthday stamp set (The Ton). I chose one sentiment from my stash which was already stamped and cut. I finished off the card with some yellow rhinestones.

That’s it from me! Hope I was able to inspire you to play along!
