Hello and Welcome to The Ton July 2020 Release !

This month 9 new die sets are debuting! They were available as digital cut files in The Ton Shop. But now you can cut these beautiful floral images without a cutting machine! Along with the eight floral die sets a new Alpha die set will be introduced today as well ; the Tall and Skinny Alpha coverplate die set!

I have two cards to share with you today.

The first card is featuring the Lovely Dahlia Layering Dies and the Lone Dahlia Coverplate die set.

To start off I cut the three layers of the Lovely Dahlia Layering Dies from Mixed Media paper which I colored in different shades of pink using Color Burst Peony. I mixed a bit of Tangerine to give it an orange tone here and there. The two layers of the leaves were also cut from some green watercolored paper. The flower center was cut from some yellow cardstock. I then assembled all the layers together.

Next I cut the Lone Dahlia Coverplate from some heavyweight white cardstock and adhered the assembled dahlia flower on the back of it. I then added the front panel to a white cardbase using foam tape. The sentiment was stamped using Easy Expressions: Thanks stamp set in Soft Garnet and Noir and cut using the coordinating die.

To finish off I added some Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots to the card and yellow Stickles to the flower center.

The second card is showcasing the Standalone Anemone Spray die. I made a CAS card by placing a white die cut anemone cluster on an ink blended background.

I started off by ink blending an A2 sized Neenah Solar White cardstock panel in Coralline Hybrid, Lemon Drop, Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz after masking the border of the panel.

The Anemone Spray was cut three times from some heavyweight white cardstock, stacked together and added to the background panel. And I splattered white opaque ink on the panel.

The sentiment was cut using Many Sentiments Coverplate die, three times from white cardstock and once from Adhesive Glitter Paper Glossy Fine Silver. I stacked them together and added it to the card. I finished off the card with some Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots.

That’s it from me! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards! Please hop over to The Ton’s blog and stop by my team mates blogs for the full reveal of the July 2020 Release and for more inspirations!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Wishing you a happy and crafty week!
