Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the first days of August!

It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge. This month’s theme is Add Sparkle. I think it is a quite easy one, as we all love some sparkle on our project 🙂 !

I made a simple card using an image from Soulful Silhouettes (30-691) set by Penny Black.

I stamped the flower image from Soulful Silhouettes (30-691) set three times on a Bristol smooth paper in Antique Linen DI and colored them using Karin brush markers. After done with coloring I heat embossed the images in Iridescent Sparkle EP and clear EP to add sparkle and shine.

I ink blended the bottom of the panel in Twisted Citron and Pine Needles DI and splattered clear water and dabbed it off. The sentiment from Words of Encouragement (30-712) (Penny Black) was stamped in black and clear heat embossed. I mounted the colored panel on a white cardbase and added the frame which was cut from some white glitter paper using Dainty Dashes Stackers die (51-636) (Penny Black). I finished off the card with some clear sequins.

I hope you enjoyed looking my card and got some inspiration ! Please hop over to The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my lovely team mates and our guest Designer Darnell Knauss!

Thank you so much for looking!

  1. TaeEun, to be honest, I don’t add sparkle very often to my projects… but I DO LOVE IT when you all do!!
Really lovely little flowers – perfect for that sparkle!

  2. WOW!! I’m so glad your photo was able to capture your genius idea of embossing your sweet flowers in both schparkly and clear powders, TaeEun! The whole scene just radiates cheer with your amazing coloring!! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

  3. Gorgeous bell flowers TaeEun and love the double embossing over the pretty colouring adding both sparkle and shine, and the background green tones look so prettty, as does that wonderful die cut frame. A brilliant card. x
