Hello and welcome to The Ton Fall 2020 Release Day 2!

Have you enjoyed The Ton Fall 2020 Release Day 1 yesterday? Today More gorgeous grouped layering stamp sets will be debuting. Most of them are holiday themed, so maybe you will need them for your holiday card collection 🙂 !

All the new items are available in The Ton shop and ready to ship except for Winter Foliage, Leaves, Modern Christmas Greetings, Grouped Grand Bows and Grouped Holiday Bows which will begin shipping late next week.

I have three holiday cards to share with you today.

For the first card I created a floral border using Wildflower Bits, Berry Bits, the small flowers from Rose Labels and the leaves from Summer Rose stamp set. The large sentiment is from Fill it In Holiday stamp set and the card was embellished with a Christmas Bow.

As I stamped most of the grouped layering stamps ahead before starting card making for this release, it was easy to pick the flowers and leaves for the floral border. The yellow flowers from Wildflower Bits were stamped in Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine and the pink ones in Ballet Slippers, Cosmopolitan Pink hybrid ink. The Berry Bits were stamped in Ballet Slippers, Cosmopolitan Pink hybrid, Lipstick Red, Pink Derby, Soft Garden and Bright Fern.

I stamped the Christmas Bow in Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink and Pink Derby and cut it using the coordinating die.

I gold heat embossed the large sentiment from Fill it In Holiday stamp set on a white cardbase and stamped the small sentiment in Noir. I then ink blended the perimeter of the white cardbase in Soft Garden and Bright Fern. I splattered white opaque ink on it and let it dry.

After the cardbase was dried all the floral elements and the bow were arranged into the border shape. To finish off the card I added a few Clear Enamel Dots.

To make the poinsettia arrangements for next two cards I used various holiday stamps. For the background I used the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies.

This one shows the Poinsettia Wishes, Berry Bits and Wildflower Bits. The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Holiday set.

To stamp the poinsettias I used Lipstick Red, Pink Derby, Dark Roast (red one) and Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink hybrid (pink one). The leaves were stamped in Bright Emerald and Hot Tourmaline.

To create the background I watercolored a watercolor paper panel in brown and gold watercolor in an ombre fashion. I cut it with a die from the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies. The rhombus pieces from the cut were used for the next card. For this card I used the frame with the lattice.

I cut another layer of the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies from some creme cardstock and foam mounted it on a creme cardbase. I glued the frame with the lattice on it and arranged my poinsettia cluster.

The scripty sentiment from the Easy Expressions: Holiday set was gold heat embossed and the rest was stamped in Noir. The sentiments were cut using the coordinating die. I finished off the card with some Medallion Gold sequins.

The next card is showcasing a poinsettia cluster with a large Berry Branch and some Pine Cones.

For the red and pink berries I used the same colors like the poinsettias. The Pine Cones were stamped in Warm Hazelnut, Found Topaz and Aspen Cocoa. As I wanted this card to be in pink and gold-brown combination I refrained from using any green leaves.

The rhombuses from the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate panel I mentioned above were foam mounted on a white cardbase. I did it before I removed the frame with the lattice which was used for the last card. I then arranged the pink poinsettia, a berry branch, some Wildflower bits and pine cones.

To make the sentiment I used a scrap piece of watercolor paper which was left from the background. I cut the “merry” once from it and three more times from some white cardstock using the Many Holiday Sentiments Coverplate die, stacked them together and added it to the card. A leftover strip of the watercolored paper was used to white heat emboss “christmas” from Fill it In Holiday set.

  1. Three gorgeous cards TaeEun and love the first with its bright and pretty colours with the flowers and bow framing the super sentiment, and both cover die cards, using positive and negative bits with beautiful poinsettia flowers look amazing. Great colour choices too. x
