Hello everyone!

It’s already time for a reminder card for the latest Flower Challenge! This month we are having a color challenge! Use brown and pink for your floral projects!

We are being sponsored this month by the amazing Bugaboo Stamps again with a $12 gift code for our winner (approx. 4 digital stamps). Our design team members have been given some of their stamps to use.

For my DT card I used the Roses and Butterflies digital stamp by Bugaboo Stamps.

I printed the image after changing the color to light brown. ( If you open the image in Word, you can change the color. ) I then colored the image using Copic markers. For the flowers I used R01, 20, 22, 35 and 37 and RV000,02,13 and 14. The brown leaves were colored in E000, 11,13,15 and39/ E41,51,43 and 44. The butterflies were colored in E02, 21, 93 and 95.

I cut the colored panel with the Double Pierced Square Nested die and foam mounted it on a brown cardbase. The sentiment was cut using the Many Sentiments dies by The Ton. I gold heat embossed the words and layered it on a white shadow layer. To finish off I scattered some Medallion Gold sequins (The Ton).

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. Really very beautiful, TaeEun! Of course you know you ‘had me’ at butterflies, but I love the idea of these final few defiant roses blooming at the end of the season, with their leaves turning brownI
I think I might have an idea for this… fingers crossed it will come to fruition! xx

  2. The pink roses and brown leaves and soft pink and brown butterflies look fantastic TaeEun and beautifully coloured as always, and love the pretty gold sequins and gold embossed die cut sentiment as finishing touches. x
