Today I have a Christmas tag to share with you. Tracy McNeely is hosting the annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags this year again and it’s already the 10th year! There are tons of inspiration during this event and also lots of prizes to win! Please get all the details on Tracy’s Main post of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!
I started off by creating a red ombre watercolored panel. I colored a watercolor paper panel in Candy Apple Liquid watercolor. For the darkest area on the top of the panel I mixed a bit of Lavender to Candy Apple. After the panel was dry I white heat embossed the sentiment from Merry and Bright Frame stamp set on it and cut it using the coordinating die. I set the sentiment aside and cut the tag from the negative panel. I cut the same tag from a white cardstock and adhered it on the back of the watercolored panel.
I gold heat embossed the frame and the branches with the birds from Merry and Bright Frame stamp set on a separate watercolor paper and cut them using the coordinating die. I colored the image using Pinkfresh studio liquid watercolors and let them dry.
I added the frame using some foam tape and adhered the branch image on the frame. I cut the sentiment from some red fun foam, adhered it onto the place on the tag and added the die cut sentiment to it.
I embellished the tag with a few clear Crystals and tied a red ribbon on the tag with a red star and a bell charm.
That’s it from me! Hope I was able to inspire you with my tag! If you are inspired and will make a tag, please don’t forget to share it on the Tracy’s Main post of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!
