Hello everyone!

It’s time for the first Challenge in November at Seize the Birthday! For the next fortnight my lovely team mate Glenda chose 1, 2, 3 as our Toppings option- It means 1 die cut or punch, 2 colours (excluding neutrals), 3 embellishments (same or different).

I made a winter birthday card using the large snowflake die for Blizzard Hugs stamp set by The Ton.

It looks like there are more than two colors in my card but I only used two colors of Color Burst powders; Cerulean Blue and Violet! They were mixed to purple and royal blue tones while I blended them with water.

After I made the background panel I cut it using one of the slimline border die (The Ton) and foam mounted it on the cardbase on which I stamped the Minor Stripes in Grape Crush. – I realized that I used here one more die to cut the panel… too late 😅.

The snowflake was cut from a panel on which I adhered light blue Adhesive foil paper. I added it to the card using some foam tape. The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Birthday set. I stamped the scripty part in Grape Crush and Azurite to go with my color scheme and the rest was stamped in Noir.

I finished off the card with three sequins.

That’s it from me! Now it’s your turn to play along!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a crafty day!

Hugs,

  1. What an amazing background to place that snowflake on. It looks like the stars in the night sky. Good to have a belated card on hand to send out if you have forgotten to send it on time. Or you could blame it on the slow mail. lol

  2. This is so beautiful! I love the background, perfect embellishments and the creative sentiment. You rocked the challenge!
