Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Today’s cards are featuring goodies from Hearts & Roses Release by Waffle Flower! Nina sent me some items from the January Release to play with and they are so adorable!!! Great sets for Valentine’s Day💗!

The first pair of cards are showing the Heart Blooms Stencil Trio set.

I started by cutting the heart from two A2 sized panels (one white and one light pink) with my cutting machine. I secured the hearts in their places using masking tape and started stenciling the Heart Blooms image. Before stenciling I ink blended the light pink panel in Cherry Blossom inks by Altenew to give it an ombre look.

To stencil the white panel I used Pinkalicious and Rubellite ink for the heart shaped flowers and Limestone and Industrial Diamond for each of the two leafy layers.

On the pink panel I stenciled the leafy layers in a white pigment ink and Iced Spruce DOX ink respectively and added white embossing paste through the heart flower layer. I sprinkled white glitter on the paste while it was still wet.

I foam mounted the negative panels on white cardbases and added the hearts to the cards switching the colors. I doubled the foam tape to adhere the hearts to raise them even more. The sentiments are from Rose Bouquet stamp set. I finished off the cards with some clear and pink rhinestones.

The next card is showcasing the Stencil-n-stamp Rose Bouquet set and the matching die.

First I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Salty Ocean DI through the heart shaped rose bouquet stencil on a Neenah solar white panel. I stamped the detail layer of the bouquet in the same colors on it and cut it using the matching die.

To create the background I stamped the plant pot with leaves in a black pigment ink on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored the background in light blue, purple and pink as shown in the picture. I watercolored the leaves very lightly and ink blended the pot in gray using the stencil. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on the background panel in black and splattered black ink all over the panel.

I foam mounted the background panel on a light gray cardbase and added the rose bouquet on it using foam tape. The bow was stamped in black and colored in pink using the matching stencil. I die cut the bow and added it to the pot.

  1. Three beautiful Waffle flower cards TaeEun featuring these pretty hearts and love the stencils. I love the way you have made two panels and die cut the hearts and swopped them with one another to get two contrasting colours of the pattern on each card which looks terrific, and then the heart shaped stencilled flowers in those three pretty blended colours and placed in the pot with a lovely stamped bow. x
