My card is featuring Beautiful Day A2 Card panel digital stamp. It shows a sweet songbird sitting in a gorgeous flower bed.

I printed the image on Canson watercolor paper and started coloring the flowers first using Karin brush markers. I used a clear glitter pen to blend the color. I colored some flowers in coral pink and some in purple.

Before coloring the bird I googled and thought a bluebird would fit in my bright floral bed. I colored the head, back and the wing of the bluebird in Cyan and Sky Blue and the chest in brown-yellow. After the watercoloring was done I added some shades using Prismacolor colored pencils. I also colored the background area around the bluebird in white pencil to brighten it.

I splattered white ink on the top part of the panel and let it dry. To add the sentiment from Ribbons Affirmations set (The Ton) I added a strip of vellum to the panel. The sentiment was partly (one layer) heat embossed in gold and partly (the second layer) stamped in Aspen Cocoa. I foam mounted the colored panel on a white cardbase and the sentiment on the vellum. Lastly the card was embellished with a few clear sequins.
