Hello and welcome to Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop!
As you may know Altenew is hosting a Celebrating Parents Card Drive for a great cause. Altenew is collecting cards for seniors who are in nursing homes or shelters to show them they are loved, celebrated, and honored. If you missed the post on Altenew blog, please click here. Today’s blog hop is to inspire you to join in this awesome card drive.

If you arrived here from the amazingly talented Seeka’s blog, you’re right on track. If you want to start from the beginning of the blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog.

I made a soft floral card featuring BAF: Anemone set.

I started by stamping the anemone flower and leave images in Antique Linen DI. I stamped the stamen in Mocha ink. I then colored the images using Altenew watercolor brush markers. The flower was colored in Rubellite and Midnight Violet and for the leaves I used Lime, Limeade and Moss. After coloring was done I cut them all using the coordinating die and set them aside.

For the background I chose a patterned paper from Celebrate paper pack. I cut it and ink blended the right side of the panel in Bamboo and Pinkalicious. I splattered white ink and the Rubellite watercolor on the panel and let it dry.

The sentiment is from Thank You Builder stmap set. I gold heat embossed it directly on the background panel and foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase. I then arranged the floral cluster as shown in the picture using foam tape and scattered some Satin Gold sequins.
